Professional Learning Opportunities

Florida After School facilitates a wide variety of professional learning opportunities for afterschool staff and educators. With annual state and regional conferences, topical workshops, online learning modules, and webinars for afterschool professionals, we are constantly striving to shape our professional learning events to meet the needs of all afterschool staff across Florida. With content that covers a wide range of subject areas and experience levels, there’s something here for everyone!

Professional learning opportunities are offered in person, virtually via live webinars, and on demand through Florida After School’s online learning management system. Special trainings are also be developed upon request and/or as issues arise in the field.

The Florida After School Learning Academy Collaborative Learning Environment® provides an interactive peer-to-peer learning environment to allow learners to communicate, spread ideas, share resources, discuss topics, and learn in a safe environment. The Academy allows participants to access interactive training, interact with like-minded professionals as you learn together in team-based projects, and create your own private networks to give staff access to unique training opportunities.
