The Florida Afterschool Network is pleased to announce the upcoming Public Policy Forum on August 6, 2021, in Orlando. The goal of the forum is to bring together afterschool and expanded learning leaders, school district administrators, superintendents and school board members, along with policy experts and youth advocates to share research-based information and innovative strategies to more effectively serve students and parents in the afterschool environment. This collaborative and solution-focused event will explore how our state can increase high-quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities for all.​

Overview of the policy landscape for education and workforce development at the local and state level through the afterschool and out-of-school-time lens.

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

Local programs panel highlighting innovative approaches on leveraging afterschool and summer learning programs to achieve greater outcomes.

Exploring how other states are solving the sustainability issue for afterschool. In Florida, for every one youth in afterschool, three more are waiting to get in.
