What We Offer

Florida After School offers a variety of supports for the afterschool field in Florida, including but not limited to the following:

• Efforts to educate and inform lawmakers, state and local agencies, and the community at-large about the value and importance of access to high quality afterschool and summer programming
• An Advocacy Fellowship to prepare the next generation of afterschool advocates and leaders to advance the cause of high quality out-of-school time experiences
• Recognition of the Afterschool Professional of the Year to honor leaders in the field
• Membership, which offers an array of benefits for agency and individual members
• A variety of Professional Learning Opportunities, including the virtual learning academy, virtual and in-person workshops, and peer learning community series
• Program Spotlights to highlight best practices and exemplary programs in Florida
• Individualized and one-on-one technical assistance and coaching for out-of-school time program leaders
• Subject matter expertise to advise decision makers on policies or projects that have an impact on - or are affected by - afterschool or summer programming
