With annual state and regional conferences, topical workshops, online learning modules, and webinars, we constantly shape our professional learning events to meet the needs of all afterschool staff across Florida. Special trainings are also developed upon request and as issues arise in the field.
Florida After School Learning Academy
The Florida After School Learning Academy Collaborative Learning Environment® provides an interactive peer-to-peer learning environment to allow learners to communicate, spread ideas, share resources, discuss topics, and learn in a safe environment.
The Academy allows participants to access interactive training, interact with like-minded professionals as you learn together in team-based projects, and create your own private networks to give staff access to unique training opportunities. Registration is free, and many trainings are available at low or no cost.

PLCs typically include facilitation of a virtual training series, sharing of relevant resources, presentations by guest speakers from related industries, and networking among programs to share best practices and programming ideas.
