At Florida After School, we believe that all children and youth deserve high-quality out-of-school time opportunities. Florida After School supports the high-quality programs, professionals, and local communities that provide youth these opportunities.
Florida After School recognizes the value of the professionals who foster the academic and personal growth of children and youth in high-quality after school, before school, holiday, and summer programs in Florida. We are the only statewide organization that supports ALL afterschool and summer programs – including programs operated by Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, school districts, private organizations, or individual providers – in Florida, regardless of size, location, or funding source.
Established with the support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Florida After School is part of a 50-state network dedicated to informing policy, developing partnerships, and shaping practices. We also serve as the State Affiliate to the National AfterSchool Association.
